In the Spring of 2020, the United States was seeing a massive shortage of personal protective equipment to combat the COVID19 virus. The Carolina Textile District mobilized its members and others in local manufacturing to begin a massive overhaul of their operations in the matter of days and weeks to produce life saving gear for medical workers on the front line and the general public.
